After poor bowling performance by the Australians against England in the second innings of the Ashes 2010 first match, the Australian selectors decided to add Ryan Harris and Bollinger to the Australian squad for the second test.
Left-handed batsman Usman Khawaja, who was in the squad for the opening game, was left out for the match at Adelaide.
Squad for the second test : Ricky Ponting (capt), Shane Watson, Simon Katich, Michael Clarke, Mike Hussey, Marcus North, Brad Haddin, Mitchell Johnson, Xavier Doherty, Peter Siddle, Ben Hilfenhaus, Doug Bollinger, Ryan Harris.
