India won the second ODI against New Zealand convincingly.All credits to the stand-in captain Gambhir.He guided India to an easy win against NewZealan in the second ODI. India had a good opening partnership.Both gambhir and Vijay played well.They put on a partnership of 85 runs of 106 ball.Then Vijay departed to Vettori.
Kohli played a sensible innings.He entertained the crowd with his 9th 50.He was out when he got 64 runs,but he along the captain made a 116 run partnership which gave India a real chance to win the 2nd ODI.Then Yuvi and Gambir ensured that India won with 8 wickets and 7 overs to spare.
Gambhir played captain's knock.He was 138 not out from 116 balls with 18 fours.Earlier NewZealnd bat first and they put on 158/8 after 50 overs.Guptil was the highest run getter for the NewZealand. He scored 70 runs.Sreesanth scalps four wickets.
Gambhir was adjudged as man of the match for his century.
