After loosing two quick wickets, Chennai Super Kings made tremendous come back in the game and posted mammoth 189 runs target before Punjab.

For Chennai, opener Murali Vijay and S Badrinath made quickfire half-century. Vijay made 74 while Badrinath scored 66 not out.

Skipper MS Dhoni also played sensible knock of 43 off 20 balls.

Earlier, Piyush Chawla dismissed dangerous Murali Vijay, who rescued Chennai along with Badrinath.

After two quick jolts, Murali Vijay and S Badrinath consolidated Chennai innings brilliantly.

Vijay struck fastest fifty of this season. Vijay and Badrinath added 124 runs for the fourth wicket partnership. Vijay made 74 runs off 43 balls.

Punjab medium pacer Praveen Kumar provided massive bow to Chennai after dismissing two batsmen in the very first two balls of the match.

PK dismissed Srikanth Anirudha and Suresh Raina in the first two deliveries of his first over.

Kings XI Punjab skipper Adam Gilchrist won the toss and opted to bowl against Chennai Super Kings here at PCA stadium in Mohali.

Punjab has made one change in the playing XI. Rimmington is out and Ryan Harris is in.

On the other hand, Chennai has kept its winning side against Kolkata Knight Riders untouched.

Punjab is looking for victory at the home crowd but CSK is favourite for the match.
