The 26-year-old further said that he was looking forward with working with Saker again.
"He is a great coach and it is disappointing to see him in opposition colours. But I stay in contact and he is still a great person to listen to. Hopefully one day he can be back with us," Siddle said.
Siddle finished with a career-best 6-54 in England's first innings of the Ashes opener at the Gabba.
